Great Barrier Feast with Dan Hunter, The Age Good Food Guide Chef of the Year 2012

Dan Hunter, of the Royal Mail Hotel in Dunkeld, hosted the third and final event of the 2011 Great Barrier Feast series in spectacular fashion over the weekend of 2 – 4 December, taking guests on a culinary journey from start to finish. 

Guests were treated to the freshest of produce as Dan blended home grown ingredients from Dunkeld with locally sourced ingredients from the Whitsundays to create some beautiful and inspiring dishes. Complimenting these decadent creations were wines matched by wine guru James Halliday and entertaining commentary by highly respected restaurant critic and columnist, Simon Thomsen.
