Treat yourself to a unique Whitsundays experience with a jaunt around the stunning championship golf course on neighbouring Dent Island. Following the five minute ferry transfer, alight and embark on a walk or run; choosing between either the front nine, back nine or the complete eighteen hole journey. Pack your camera and take in the sights for this non-competitive event, before rewarding yourself with a scrumptious breakfast in the Hamilton Island Golf Course clubhouse overlooking the azure waters of the Whitsundays and the Hamilton Island Marina.
Event Details
Date: Sunday 11th November
Cost: $30 per competitor includes ferry transfer and breakfast. Children $15 per competitor
Departure: 6.15am from Dent Island Ferry Pontoon
Return: Ferry transfers are available hourly on the half hour: i.e. 7.30am, 8.30am, 9.30am, etc.
Distances: Participants can complete the full 18-hole course (approximately 10.6km) or choose between the front (4.2km) or back nine (6.4km)
Bookings can be made at the Hamilton Island Tour Desk upon arrival to Hamilton Island up until 5pm on Saturday November 10th.
This is a social, participation-based event and as such prizes are not awarded and timing is left at the discretion of participants.
