Junior Triathlon 11 November 2012

The Fujifilm Junior Triathlon will be held on Sunday the 11th November.  All participants will have a choice of three distances in which to compete, depending upon their ability and experience (ungoverned by age).

Start time 7.30am with wave starts for each distance.  Wave starts will be advised to entrants at Race Kit Collection
Location Hamilton Island, Great Barrier Reef

Cost

Registrations
$25.00 per individual participant (includes race pack, race shirt and finishers medal)

Registrations Close
Online entries close Monday 5th November at 5.00pm. Race entries will be capped for this event. Should the quota not be reached then entries will be accepted up to and including race day

Minimum Ages
The Junior Triathlon is for children aged 15 years and under

Courses

Option 1 – 350m swim, 6km cycle, 2500m run
Option 2 – 150m swim, 3km cycle, 1500m run
Option 3 – 50m swim, 1km cycle, 500m run

Registration and Race Kit Collection

Race Kit collection will be available during the below times from Athlete Central located in the Bougainvillaea Marquee

Prizes

No prizes are awarded for this event, children can enter the race that suits their ability and experience, regardless of age.  Each participant will receive a finishers medal
