Hamilton Island Race Week On Water Events There are several exciting on-water events throughout the Hamilton Island Race Week program, with categories for multiple race classes, as well as the ever-popular Prix d’ Elegance. The racing itself includes two classes for measured rating boats (Rating Class and Multihull Racing), four classes for non-rated boats (Hamilton Island Class, Non-Spinnaker Class, Trailable Yachts Class and Multihull Hamilton Island Class) and classes for One Design Class Accompanying these races is the colourful and always entertaining Prix d’ Elegance event, where two yachts will receive the “Best Presented Yacht” and the “Best Themed Yacht” awards.
