No qualification required. First 3 across the line. Open place getters are not eligible for age group prize.
Individual Age Group

Any gender breakdown qualifies subject to all team members being employed by the same business/company/department
A choice of three distances to compete in depending on ability and experience.
The kids distances are as follows:
- Option 1 –3km
- Option 2 –1.5km
- Option 3 – 750m
Entry is $30 per child and can only enter one race as they all run simultaneously
Pre Event Participation
You must ensure that you have trained sufficiently and are physically capable of completing the event within your current level of health and fitness. You must also ensure at all times during the event that you are performing well within your level of skill and ability for each of the three disciplines. To not abide by these conditions can create potentially dangerous situation for yourself and other competitors.
Competitor and Team Registration
Registration for all competitors will take place on Saturday 2 May 2.00pm - 5.00pm at the Reef View Lounge, Reef View Hotel and Sunday 3 May – 6.30am – 7.15am at the Hesperus located on Front Street, next to Manta Ray Cafe. Please bring a printed copy of your receipt. It is compulsory for all athletes to register during this time. You must show identification (Drivers License, Passport etc).You will receive your race pack during this time which includes your Hilly half race singlet and other sponsor products.
Race Briefing / Race Start
There will be a pre-race briefing at 7.15am on Sunday 3 May for all competitors directly before the start of the race. The briefing will be held at the Hesperus located on Front Street, next to Manta Ray Café.
Any Athlete seen to be taking a shortcut during the event will be disqualified. Ipod use is allowed but only one earphone is permitted to be worn to allow ease of communication with officials.
Withdrawals prior to the event must be in writing – email

The cancellation fee is 100% should you pull out the day of the race. If you withdraw during the race, please report to the Hesperus and advise the Officials that you have withdrawn. The cancellation fee is 100% should you pull out during the race.
Changes to Entry
Changes can be made to your race entry until Wednesday 29 April 2015 via your event website login. Any changes after this date must be emailed to email@example.com.
50% of your entry fee up until 5pm on Wednesday 17 April. NO REFUND after 5pm Wednesday 17 April.
Cruise Whitsundays Ferry Transfers
For those competitors travelling from Shute Harbour, we have a special transfer rate from our sponsor Cruise Whitsundays. These tickets can be purchased directly with Cruise Whitsundays, simply present your Race Confirmation Details. For people travelling across on the morning of the race there is a transfer leaving Shute Harbour at 6:30am. For all other ferry times please visit the Cruise Whitsundays website.
It is strongly advised that you take out personal medical insurance for the duration of your stay, especially for international competitors. Under the Australian Health Act, all non-Australians are not covered financially for personal injury. If you do have an accident you must pay for your own medical expenses. Therefore it is essential for you to obtain adequate personal medical insurance.

Presentations for the Stamford Financial Hilly Half Marathon will be held at the Hesperus, located on Front Street next to Manta Ray cafe on Sunday 3 May from 12.00pm. BBQ and refreshments available for purchase from 11.30am.
