Gatorade Clash of the Paddles - Outrigging

Although Hamilton Island's popular annual paddling event is now known as Gatorade Clash of the Paddles, outrigging will remain a major part of the event and the infamous 42-kilometer Hamilton Cup marathon will continue to proudly uphold its status as one of the toughest outrigging canoe races in the world.

As well as the main event, Gatorade Clash of the Paddles will also feature more than 100 sprint and medium-distance outrigging races, plus demanding 16-kilometre marathons.

Taking place over four days during the month of June, this is an impressive sight for spectators as canoes circle Hamilton Island and race through the Whitsundays.
