Australia’s Largest Outrigging Event

14 - 18 June 2012

Further information about the 2012 Hamilton Island Cup will be available in early 2012.

Over 1000 paddlers from all over Australia plus international teams from Hong Kong, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and Canada came to Hamilton Island to take part in the Schweppes Hamilton Island Cup from 16 – 19 June 2011.

The four day event was held in the beautiful Whitsunday waters surrounding Hamilton Island and featured some of the toughest racing in the world.

Outrigger canoeists, surf ski rides and stand-up paddle boarders competed in more than 100 sprint and medium-distance races, plus demanding marathons over the course of the event.
