Prize Money
Hamilton Island Cup 42km Marathon
Prize money for this event will be advised closer to the event. For a team to be eligible for prizemoney in the 42km marathon, a minimum of 6 competitors in the team must have competed in a 16km event, on any form of outrigger canoe.
Prize money of $2000 per division will be distributed to the following nine (9) divisions:
Open Men, Master Men, Senior Master Men, Golden Master Men, Open Women, Master Women, Senior Master Women, Golden Master Women and Open Mixed Division.
PLEASE NOTE: There must be a minimum of three (3) teams racing in a division to be eligible for prize money. If there are less than 3 teams nominated, teams may race for medals only or switch to another division.
Prize money will be awarded as follows. To divisions Open Men, Master Men, Senior Master Men, Golden Master Men, Open Women, Master Women, Master Mixed and Open Mixed Division, Senior Master Women, Golden Master Women.
