The home of yachting on the Great Barrier Reef, the iconic Hamilton Island Yacht Club is an architectural gem beside the marina. With a signature design by Australian architect Walter Barda, the yacht club’s aquamarine copper sails reflect Hamilton Island’s Whitsundays surroundings and celebrate the sheer exhilaration of yachting.
Hamilton Island Yacht Club is the base for Australia’s largest offshore yachting regatta, Hamilton Island Race Week. The club’s Bommie restaurant serves snacks on the deck and a more formal à la carte menu of modern Australian cuisine. Conference and function facilities are available, and member privileges include a members-only gym, library and restaurant.
