What do you like best about working for Hamilton Island?
What I like best is that people are supported beyond the usual day to day; their career aspirations and general wellbeing is supported by this exceptional community. I also like that the ability to gain nationally recognised qualifications are gift wrapped for employees to embrace through the Robert Oatley College.

Describe your perfect weekend on Hamilton Island?
My perfect weekend starts with two hours in bed with a good book, followed by a walk on the beach and generally enjoying the island environment. I will hit the gym in the afternoon and sample all the delights of the island throughout the day, including coffee and cake at the Marina Deli.

Describe a unique experience that could only happen while working for Hamilton Island.
Attending an employee awards ceremony on Catseye Beach was one of the most unique experiences in my whole career. It was a real eye opener attending this recognition event for the first time, coming from a typical office high-rise environment – a concrete box – to a beautiful sunny beach where the red carpet was laid out onto the sand and senior managers all took their shoes off to be involved in supporting the recipients. I really found this so different to the corporate life I had led.
