For large and small groups Whitehaven Beach

Treat your conference delegates to a visit to the magnificent Whitehaven Beach - either as a short trip, or a full-day cruise.

Whitehaven Beach activities for large and small groups

Give your delegates a truly unforgettable Whitsundays’ experience, with a visit to the pristine and world-famous Whitehaven Beach.

No trip to the Whitsundays would be complete without a visit to the pristine Whitehaven Beach - with its seven-kilometre long stretch of pure, white silica sand.

Located on Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 islands in the Whitsunday region, this spectacular beach is fully protected due to its National and Marine Park status. It is also completely uninhabited.
For corporate groups, Hamilton Island offers several trips to Whitehaven Beach - ranging from a quick snorkel trip, to a full-day tour.

Corporate-focused trips to Whitehaven Beach include:

Cruise Whitsundays Whitehaven Beach trip.

Cruise on a private, chartered vessel to Whitehaven Beach - either or a half-day or a full-day adventure. Once you arrive, you can either wander the white sands, splash in the turquoise waters, or enjoy some beach activities - such as beach cricket, football or volleyball.

This experience includes use of a charter vessel and a private area of the beach, a dedicated Cruise Whitsundays host, and friendly staff, as well as a commentary on the way to the island.  All delegates will also be served a BBQ or buffet lunch served on Whitehaven Beach or on-board your vessel, as well as morning and afternoon tea, full-body lycra suits for snorkelling, and more.

Whitehaven Dash.

If you don’t have much time, you can still treat your delegates to a trip to Whitehaven Beach on Reef Ryder I or II - a rigid inflatable vessel.
You will spend an hour relaxing on the soft white sands of Whitehaven, and be back in time for lunch! If you choose, you can also include an hour’s snorkelling at Chalkies Beach.

Grand Prix Yachting.

Ready to do something different? Use the morning to cover your essential business, then round up your team and join us for an exhilarating three hours' match racing in the afternoon on our Volvo 60 ocean racers, Merit and Spirit. Or, spend a relaxing full day sailing to Whitehaven Beach's beautiful Hill Inlet lookout for that incredible view over the bay. Merit and Spirit were both built for the 1997-98 Volvo Ocean Race, with Merit Cup taking second place and Spirit raced by an all-female crew as EF Education.

Both vessels have a rich racing pedigree, with several Rolex Sydney Hobart and other major offshore racing achievements between them. In 1999, Spirit (then Nokia), set a race record of 1 day 19 hours and 48 minutes at an average speed of 14.39 knots. That record stood for 13 years until Wild Oats XI set the new record of 1 day, 18 hours and 23 minutes in 2012. Your skipper and crew are well-qualified and will ensure each member of your group can enjoy the occasion at a level + position suited to their skill, ability and interest. We even have the 'princess seat' for those who simply don't want to move too much about the boat! See you on the water!
