No trip to the Whitsundays would be complete without a visit to the pristine Whitehaven Beach - with its seven-kilometre long stretch of pure, white silica sand.
Located on Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 islands in the Whitsunday region, this spectacular beach is fully protected due to its National and Marine Park status. It is also completely uninhabited.
For corporate groups, Hamilton Island offers several trips to Whitehaven Beach - ranging from a quick snorkel trip, to a full-day tour.
Corporate-focused trips to Whitehaven Beach include:
Cruise Whitsundays Whitehaven Beach trip.
Cruise on a private, chartered vessel to Whitehaven Beach - either or a half-day or a full-day adventure. Once you arrive, you can either wander the white sands, splash in the turquoise waters, or enjoy some beach activities - such as beach cricket, football or volleyball.
This experience includes use of a charter vessel and a private area of the beach, a dedicated Cruise Whitsundays host, and friendly staff, as well as a commentary on the way to the island. All delegates will also be served a BBQ or buffet lunch served on Whitehaven Beach or on-board your vessel, as well as morning and afternoon tea, full-body lycra suits for snorkelling, and more.
If you don’t have much time, you can still treat your delegates to a trip to Whitehaven Beach on Reef Ryder I or II - a rigid inflatable vessel.
You will spend an hour relaxing on the soft white sands of Whitehaven, and be back in time for lunch! If you choose, you can also include an hour’s snorkelling at Chalkies Beach.
