Hamilton Island (HI) provides recycled water to support sustainable practices. Please see more here.
Please join us for a celebration of the Holy Mass on the first Sunday of every month. Together, we will gather in faith to worship, reflect, and pray as a community.
The following island works have been confirmed to address maintenance requirements and product refurbishment. We thank-you for your patience during this time.
- Beach Club - From 15 June to 20 June 2026, a light interior refresh will take place in select Beach Club shared areas between 9.00am and 5.00pm, with minor daytime noise and temporary layout adjustments expected.
- Sails Restaurant & Bar Refurbishment - Refurbishment works are currently underway at Sails Restaurant & Bar.
During this time, access to the Sails area will be adjusted. The existing terrace access will be closed, with a temporary corridor in place to allow safe access to and from the venue. Access to the Resort Pool, coca chu and Catseye Beach will also be redirected via the pool gate opposite the Resort Store, adjacent to HI Bowling. These temporary access arrangements are expected to remain in place until mid-June. We appreciate your understanding while these works are completed.

Restaurants, buggies and activities are in high demand so it's important that your guests plan and book ahead to avoid disappointment. We’ve included all the some handy links to share with your guests prior to their stay.
Cashless Payments
Hamilton Island is a cashless environment, and we are unable to accept cash at any of our outlets. Cash deposits and withdrawals can be made using the Bank@Post service at the Australia Post office on Front Street, where cash can also be exchanged for pre-paid or top-up Mastercards.
Restaurants
We strongly recommend guests pre-book their dining arrangements. To make a reservation you can Book a Restaurant Online, or explore the options on our Food & Wine page. Restaurant opening times may vary slightly depending on the week that you visit, please check our Weekly Restaurant/Café/Bar Schedule or the Hamilton Island App.

Buggies
Buggies are currently in high demand and pre-booking is recommended. Your property may already come with a buggy, but if not – or if they need a second buggy, they can click here to pre-book your buggy. (Subject to availability)
Hamilton Island also offers a complimentary Shuttle service. Simply hop on or off at any of the designated stops, and use the service as much or as little as you like.
