Standard Booking Terms and Conditions

Reef View, Palm Bungalows, Beach Club and qualia

Important: These Terms and Conditions apply to standard, year-round bookings and are not relevant to Race Week, Festive Season and Sales and Special Offers. Specific terms and conditions for Sales and Special Offers will be advised at the time of booking and in your booking confirmation. Please be sure to read and understand the terms and conditions relevant to your dates and rate.

Deposit

  • 20% of the total booking value is required at the time of booking.
  • This deposit is refundable up until 14 days prior to travel.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking if travel is within 7 days of arrival date.

Final Payment

  • The balance of your accommodation must be paid no later than 7 days prior to your arrival.
  • The payment will be processed on the nominated credit card provided at the time of booking.
  • To pre-pay your final payment via an alternative method, please contact Hamilton Island Holidays on 1800 370 800.

Cancellation

  • Cancellations and amendments received outside 14 days of arrival will not incur a cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations and amendments received within 14-8 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking value.
  • Cancellations and amendments received within 7 days of arrival, ‘No Shows’ and/or ‘Early Departures’ will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking value.
  • Notice of any cancellation, amendment or reduction in reserved rooms must be provided in writing to Hamilton Island Holidays on vacations@hamiltonisland.com.au
    • Alternatively, if you have booked online via our website and have not yet reached your cancellation deadline, you may cancel online here.
    • If you have booked through a travel agent or Online Travel Agent, please contact them directly to make changes to your booking.

COVID-19 booking conditions

If you have paid your final balance while borders are closed - if borders are still closed over your travel dates, the above Deposit, Final Payment and Cancellation policies will apply. If you have paid your final balance while borders are open – if there is a sudden border closure after your final balance payment, we will amend your travel dates without penalty for the same property. If you cancel your booking before the Cancellation date your booking deposit will be refunded or credited toward your amended dates for the same property. If you have tested positive to COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to travel or are in self-isolation within 7 days of travel, we will amend your travel dates without penalty (written documentation is required) for the same property. Credit card fees are non-refundable.
