Art Wolfe on Hamilton Island
Private Lecture Series from Sunday 18 - Wednesday 21 March 2012
Over the course of his 30-year career, Art Wolfe has photographed on every continent and in numerous locations. His stunning images interpret and record the world’s fast-disappearing wildlife, landscapes and native cultures, and are a lasting inspiration to those who seek to preserve them all. His photographs are recognized throughout the world for their mastery of colour, composition and perspective. His unique approach to nature photography is based on his training in the arts and his love of the environment. He will be in Australia in March 2012.
Since the announcement of Wolfe’s visit to Australia, many photographers and others, particularly from Queensland, have asked (a) if it were possible for Art to visit Brisbane (in addition to Sydney, Melbourne & Perth) and (b) if it were possible to arrange an event for a very small group (maximum of 15 people), preferably in a picturesque and appealing location. Arrangements have now been made for such a small group event on Hamilton Island.
Art Wolfe will present a Private Lecture Series on Hamilton Island from 18-21 March 2012.
