Fujifilm Hamilton Island Triathlon and Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim 2012

The 2012 event will once again see Hamilton Island hosting Five challenging events held over the 2 days:
- Hamilton Island Triathlon
- Junior Hamilton Island Triathlon
- Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim
- Junior Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim
- The Dent Dash
Dive into a Whitsundays Triathlon experience with, a 750m swim in picturesque Catseye Bay, 20km cycle including a unique airport runway section, and conclude with a 5km run through the island’s Marina Village to a beach-side finish. The Junior Fujifilm Hamilton Island Triathlon is a fun swim, bike and run around the Hamilton Island village (open to children aged 14 years and under).
Cap off your weekend with a cruise to world renowned Whitehaven Beach, regularly voted one of the world’s top beaches, to participate in the Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim. Nestled in the beautiful surrounds of the Great Barrier Reef, one of the world’s seven natural wonders, this annual 2km and 750m ocean swim meet, plus a fun 350m junior swim for children 13 years and under, is sure to become as iconic and famous as its location.
