Fujifilm Hamilton Island Triathlon and Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim

The Fujifilm Hamilton Island Triathlon is held in November in some of the Whitsunday’s most iconic locations, with three challenging events held over eight days.

• Workshop - 9-12 November 2010
• Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim - 12 November 2010
• Fujifilm Hamilton Island Triathlon - 14 November 2010

Warm up with a 2 kilometre or 750m Whitehaven Beach Ocean swim, then join participate in  the triathlon’s gruelling trio of a 750m swim in Catseye Bay, a 20 kilometre cycle through the southern stretch of Hamilton Island and  a 5 kilometre run between the island’s marina and resorts.

Helping participants to compete at their best, a 3 day workshop run by elite triathlon coaches shares technical tips and vital information on health and nutrition. To celebrate the Fujifilm Hamilton Island Triathlon, events include pre-race buffets and the medal presentation dinner.
