Chalkies Lodge

Your room will be provided clean and ready for your arrival, with the essentials provided. However, you are required to bring all your own bedding such as sheets, pillows, blankets and anything else you may require. Some of these items are avaliable to purchase on the island, see more information here. 

Your room contains:

  • Queen bed
  • Microwave
  • Bedside table
  • Dining table and 2 chairs
  • Bar fridge
  • Ensuite bathroom that opens up to the room next door, you will share this bathroom with the room next door
  • Shared laundry room (this is not coin operated but you will need to provide your own washing powder)
  • Iron and ironing board available in laundry room
  • Wifi

Your rent will be deducted from your pay in the way of a wage deduction pre-tax. Electricity is included in your rent.

You are allowed to bring with you any form of extra cooking equipment for your room such as an electric frypan or rice cooker, as long as it does not have an open flame. 
 
Our staff shop and IGA on the island have a selection of items for sale to assist you in settling into your new accommodation. Items such as pillows, small electrical equipment are available.

You can also purchase items online and have them delivered to the Island (click here for Outlet PO Box addresses if you wish to send items prior to your arrival) or you can visit the Hamilton Island Buy, Swap and Sell page on Facebook.
