Best Price Guarantee Terms and Conditions

Hamilton Island guarantees the best price for your stay. If you find an Equivalent Offer at a lower price from select Online Travel Agents, Hamilton Island will match it, provided all terms and conditions below are met.

For the purposes of these terms and conditions, "Hamilton Island Enterprises Limited", "we", ‘our” or “us” means Hamilton Island Enterprises Limited (ABN 61 009 946 909) and each of its subsidiaries, related bodies corporate and business operations conducted under our brands.

Eligibility Criteria for Price Match
To qualify for a price match, the Equivalent Offer must:

  1. Be for the same acommodation (Reef View Hotel, Palm Bungalows, Beach Club, The Sundays, Hamilton Island Holiday Homes, or qualia);
  2. Match the same length of stay and room type;
  3. Be for the same dates and number of guests;
  4. Include identical value adds/inclusions (e.g. meals, activities);
  5. Include all taxes, booking fees, and service charges;
  6. Not be directly from Hamilton Island’s own website/s;
  7. Be published online and available to the general public; and
  8. You can book using the same form of payment and the offer has the same cancellation policies. 

Exclusions

  • The guarantee does not apply to packaged deals (e.g. Heart Island Adventure Package, Best of the Whitsundays).
  • The guarantee is not available if there is no equivalent booking availability with Hamilton Island.
  • The Best Price Guarantee applies only to Equivalent Offers available through the following Online Travel Agents:

    • Booking.com
    • Mr & Mrs Smith
    • Trip.com
    • Wotif
    • Lastminute.com
    • Qantas Hotels
    • Travel Online
    • Luxury Escapes

Process for Submitting a Price Match Claim

  1. Complete the Best Price Guarantee form, providing:
    1. A quote, screenshot, or photograph showing the lower price of the Equivalent Offer;
    2. Details of the website where the Equivalent Offer is listed;
    3. Confirmation that the offer is available to book online and matches all eligibility criteria in the terms and conditions and does not fall under any listed exclusions; and
    4. Prices must be in AUD, including GST.
  2. Submit your claim on the same day you find the lower price and before making a booking with Hamilton Island.

Price Match Response Time
Hamilton Island Reservations operates Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEDT (closed weekends).

  • Monday–Thursday: within 24 hours. 
  • Friday–Saturday: within 72 hours. 
  • Sunday claims: within 48 hours. 

If your claim meets the terms and conditions, Hamilton Island will match the price. If it does not, Hamilton Island will work with you to explore suitable holiday options based on your preferences.

Important Notes

  • The price match enquiry must be submitted in writing using the Best Price Guarantee form.
  • The price match must be requested before booking. Claims submitted after booking are not eligible.
  • Once a booking is confirmed, Hamilton Island’s booking terms and conditions apply (see Hamilton Island Terms and Conditions).
  • Hamilton Island reserves the right to deny a claim if the Equivalent Offer cannot be verified and/or the claim does not meet the stated terms and conditions. 
  • Hamilton Island notes that there may be unauthorised websites, agents or operators that allege that they have an affiliation and the right to sell Hamilton Island accommodation. However, these websites, agents or operators have not been authorised by Hamilton Island and do not have the right to sell Hamilton Island accommodation. Hamilton Island does not accept liability for any costs you may incur or the booking terms and conditions of unauthorised websites, agents or operators. For such sites, Hamilton Island Hotels has no control over payment, booking conditions, cancellations or rate changes, and therefore will also be unable to assist further in case of any dispute.
