Even if it is raining, the view is still a sight to be seen, and the food is second to none. 2) Visit the Wildlife You can even have breakfast with the koalas. The WILD LIFE Park is mostly under cover and visits can still be made with a few rain clouds. So, why not throw on your rain jackets and take a tour the park! Enjoy the thrill of going on an Australian animal adventure and meet some of the most loved, feared and unique animals Australia has to offer. With daily tours, feeding sessions and animal photo experiences, there are plenty of ways to enjoy time at the Wildlife Park. 3) Relax and refresh at the spa Nothing but calm at Spa wumurdaylin. When you’re lying on the massage table, we plan to eliminate any worries you might have and make you feel like you’re a million miles away… The outdoor world will slide away and that includes forgetting about the rain outside. Lie back and let the team assist you to feel relaxed, refreshed and replenished with a range of treatment options to choose from at Spa wumurdaylin. 4) Take the ATV tour or check out the quad bikes for kids These activities are fun in the sun but when rain falls on the track, you get the added thrill of mud and puddles… Also known as: Splash time! For the junior thrill seeker, the quad bikes are a safe and fun option. Riding through mud and puddles is bound to deliver smiles to their faces, and the addition of water won’t phase them a bit. Kids love to play in the rain and it’s normally still nice and warm since we’re in a tropical location. Be prepared to get a little dirty! The same goes for adults taking our offroad ATV tour. These are “All Terrain Vehicles” after all and some water on the track just adds to the fun. 5) Have a movie day If the rain decides to hang around for a bit and it’s time to lay low, the best thing to do is snuggle in and relax for the day - sometimes enforced downtime is exactly what we need! We’ve got everything you need to make this activity a success. Our resorts all give you access to an array of movie options via the pay-per-view. There are glow in the dark lanes, fun dance tunes and arcade games too. It’s all about having fun and making it a casual and memorable experience. There is also a bar available if you want to have a few drinks, it isn’t just for kids! 7) Take an art class Creating sunshine on a rainy day with colourful jewel toned art works. Photo by sarah_rtw.
