On Snorkel tours children under 5 years old are not allowed in the water and should remain on board at all times with a parent or guardian.

Please note guests must be able to swim to participate in snorkeling. There will be a guide in the water for assistance, and floatation devices available for those that require them.

Sights and highlights

With guest numbers kept below capacity, you can be confident of an intimate tour experience.
Includes an explanatory educational session on the Great Barrier Reef, while cruising through the Whitsundays passage.
Travel on one of Hamilton Island's premium dive vessels - with hydraulically lowered stairs, lounge style seating, partially shaded deck, and freshwater hot and cold showers.
High quality snorkelling gear is included, as well as wetsuits/stinger suits and flotation jackets (if required).
The best sites are selected on the day of departure. The dive sites around Northern Hook Island are recognised as the best in the Whitsundays.

Sample itinerary

Spend an hour travelling each way, with an educational commentary as you cruise through the Whitsundays passage.
Enjoy between 1.5 and 2 hours' free time at the chosen snorkel site.

Sunscreen
Flat-soled shoes or thongs (no high-heels)
A jacket or warm clothes for after swimming, or in case the weather becomes cool
Please also limit your baggage to one backpack or small, soft bag per couple if possible.

Explore's Pure Dive and Reef Explorer vessels are located in the Marina Village at A9/10 Arm, opposite Explore's office.

Terms and Conditions

All tours are subject to minimum numbers and to weather conditions and so may be cancelled at the discretion of the operator.
Explore reserve the right to alter the destination pending the weather for your safety and comfort. Times may also need to be changed due to tidal changes.
Explore will offer alternative days or refunds in the event of cancellations.
Explore reserve the right to use other vessels should Pure Dive or Reef Explorer be unavailable for any reason.

Cancellation policy

If your booking is cancelled within 24 to 48 hours notice, 50% of the ticket price will be forfeited.
If your booking is a no show or cancelled less than 24 hours notice, 100% of the ticket price will be forfeited.
