We have activities designed to suit a variety of ages and interests and these can all be found in the Hamilton Island App. As the school holiday period is typically a busy time of year on Hamilton Island, we kindly advise all guests to pre-book tours and activities as well as dinner reservations in advance.

Kids Stay and Eat Free. Children 12 years and under can enjoy free meals for the duration of your stay when dining with a parent at Pool Terrace and ordering from the kids’ menu. Participating restaurants may be subject to change. Terms and Conditions apply.
Child minding options. Leave your children in capable, trusted hands at the Clownfish Club, or with one of our certified babysitters.
Couple time. The kids are entertained so now its your turn to get some much needed couple time.

School Holidays Island Passport

Live Music

Enjoy some great live music on select days. A perfect setting to watch the sun set over the island. Check the Hamilton Island App for location and times.

Hula Hoops and Bubble Magic

Create bubbles of all sizes using our array of wands and enjoy some hula hoop fun on the grass near the Bougainvillea Pool.

Kids Fun Zone

Arts and Craft activities led by the Fun Crew, such as beading, sand art, wood art, colouring and more. Take home your holiday creation and make a holiday friend.

Kids Disco

Join the Fun Crew for a night of dancing, games and facepainting. Come along and get your glowstick and lolly. Prizes up for grabs. (Parental Supervision required)

Night at the Zoo

Head to the Wildlife Park after hours, for an evening full of fun among the animals. Enjoy an evening park tour and animla face painting. Plus, decorate a cupcake whilst watching a family friendly movie.

Cupcake Decorating and Facepainting

See the Fun Crew at Tavern Lawns to get your face painted, or to decorate your own cupcake to eat. All ages are welcome.

Moonlight Movies

Join us at the Tavern Lawns for a family friendly Moonlight movie. The perfect way to end a fun filled day as a family. Limited rugs provided.

Pool Parties

A mixture of games, water fights and dancing at the Bougainvillea Pool, led by the Fun Crew. Plus, Don’t miss out on your chance to experience life as a mermaid with our mermaid tails! Prizes up for grabs.

Sails Games

Join the Fun Crew at Sails Restaurant Lounge area to try your luck at Bingo, Trivia, Family Feud or Quirky Quiz. Free and fun for all ages. Plenty of prizes up for grabs.

Beach Volleyball and Sand Castle Making

Join the team on the sand of Catseye Beach for either a game of Beach Volleyball or let your imagination run wild in one of our sand castle making competitions!
